Is Juvaderm Right For You?

Juvaderm may not be right for you if you:

Have severe allergies marked by a history of anaphylaxis or presence of multiple severe allergies
Have a history of allergies to gram-positive bacterial proteins
Have been using substances which can prolong bleeding, such as aspirin or ibuprofen (this may increase bleeding and/or bruising at the injection site)
After the Juvaderm procedure, are considering a laser treatment, chemical peel, or any other procedure based on active dermal response (risk of inflammatory reaction at the treatment site)
Have been undergoing immunosuppressive therapy (therapy to decrease the body’s immune response) (this increases risk of infection from injection)
Are looking for a lip filler (Juvaderm has been subject to safety tests for this)
Are in pregnancy, breast-feeding or under 18 years of age (safety test have not been established)
